On October 26th the Knights of Columbus John Paul II Council dedicated and unveiled our monument for the unborn victims of abortion. This monument stands as a memorial for the voiceless victims of our nation’s great sin. In 1992 Cardinal John J. O’Connor called on the Knights of Columbus to establish “Tombs of the Unborn” in every diocese across the United States. Since that call countless Knights of Columbus councils, assemblies, and districts have done just that. The memorial was officiated by Rev. Fr. Joseph Manarchuck, pastor of St Patrick’s and St Joseph’s linked parishes, and additional words were added by council Life Director Antonio Perito.
